North of Scotland Cup Second Round at Balgownie on 16th February

After a prolonged winter break caused by the sub-zero temperatures and a break-in at Balgownie the previous week both teams were relieved to finally get this tie under way.

Abos’ manager Lawrence was able to name a strong starting eleven with several younger players reducing the average age of the Abos line-up. Ure stepped into the centre of defence after a promising debut against Alford and Scanlon and Elliott lined up on the right flank.
